TEMA: PRESENTE SIMPLE

Veamos la estructura de las oraciones en presente simple, el verbo principal se conjuga según la persona:

ORACIONES AFIRMATIVAS:


1. En primeras y segundas personas el verbo tiene la misma forma:

Sujeto       +         verbo           +     complemento:

  I     (yo)            go (voy)               to the university (a la universidad)
You   (Tú)            go (vas)               to school  (al colegio)
We (nosotros)      go (vamos)           to the party (a la fiesta)
They (ellos)         go (van)               to the cinema (al cine)


2. Tercera persona: se agrega -s al verbo principal:

She (Ella)            goes (va)               to school (al colegio)           
She                     studies (estudia)    English (inglés)
He   (Él)              does (hace)           the homework (la tarea)
He                      buys (compra)       a book (un libro)
It (animal, cosa)  catches (atrapa a)  a mouse (un ratón)

Nota: Si el verbo termina en vocal o ch o sh, se agrega -es.
         Si el verbo termina en consonante + y, se cambia por -ies.
             Si el verbo termina en vocal + y, sólo se agrega -s.             

ORACIONES NEGATIVAS:

Veamos la forma negativa de las oraciones:

Al hacer la negación utilizamos el auxiliar do + la negación (not), antes del verbo principal que no cambia, queda en infinitivo.

1. Primeras y segundas personas:

Sujeto + (Aux.+ Neg.)     +       Verbo      +    Complemento

  I      do not / don´t (no)     go  (voy)         to the theater (al teatro)
You    do not / don´t (no)     do  (haces)      exercise (ejercico)
We     do not / don´t (no)     read(leemos)   the letter(la carta)
They   do not / don´t (no)     live (viven)     in Bogota (en Bogotá)

2. Tercera persona se utiliza does + not:

She     does not / doesn´t       go to school.       (ella no va al colegio)
He      does not/doesn´t          do exercise.        (él no hace ejercicio)
It        does not/doesn´t         live in the forest. (eso no vive en el bosque)

Nota: don´t y doesn´t son las formas abreviadas.

ORACIONES INTERROGATIVAS

Al escribir una pregunta, la estructura de la oración cambia en el orden de sus partes:

Auxiliar + Sujeto + Verbo + Complemento

¿Do             I            go      to the university?   (¿Yo voy a la universidad?)
¿Do           you          do      exercise?               (¿Tú haces ejercicio?)
¿Do            we          read   the letter?              (¿Nosotros leemos la carta?)
¿Do           they         live    in Bogota?              (¿Ellos viven en Bogotá?)
¿Does        she           go     to school?              (¿Ella va al colegio?)
¿Does         he           do     exercise?                (¿El hace ejercicio?)
¿Does          it           live    in the forest?          (¿Eso vive en el bosque?)

TEMA: PASADO SIMPLE


ORACIONES AFIRMATIVAS

La estructura es:

Sujeto + Verbo + Complemento
             pasado

I            went       to the univeristy.   (Yo fui a la universidad)
You        went       to school.             (Tú fuiste al colegio)
She        went       to the party.         (Ella fue a la fiesta)
He         went        to the hospital.     (Él fue al hospital)
It           went       to the forest.         (Eso fue al bosque)
We         went       to the park.           (Nosotros fuimos al parque)
They      went       to the cinema.       (Ellos fueron al cine)

Nota: La forma del verbo principal en pasado simple es igual para todas las personas. 


ORACIONES NEGATIVAS

Al hacer la negación usamos el auxiliar do en pasado (did) + negación (not), el verbo principal no se escribe en pasado, se deja en infinitivo.

Suj. + (Aux. pas.+ not)  + Verbo + Complemento

I          did not/didn´t         go       to the party.     (Yo no fui a la fiesta) 
You      did not/didn´t       study     English.           (Tú no estudiaste inglés)
She      did not/didn´t        do        the homework. (Ella no hizo la tarea)
He       did not/didn´t        buy       the house.       (Él no compró la casa)
It         did not/didn´t       catch     the mouse.      (Eso no atrapó al ratón)
We       did not/didn´t       read      the letter.        (nosotros no leímos la carta)
They    did not/didn´t        live       in Bogota.       (Ellos no vivieron en Bogotá) 

Nota: didn´t es la forma abreviada de did not.


ORACIONES INTERROGATIVAS

Al hacer preguntas es pasado, la estructura de la oración es:

Aux.pas. + Suj. + Verbo + complemento

  ¿Did          I          go      to the party?      (¿Yo fui a la fiesta?)
  ¿Did        you      study   English?             (¿Tú estudiaste inglés?)
  ¿Did        she        do      the homework?  (¿Ella hizo la tarea?) 
  ¿Did         he        buy     the book?          (¿Él compró el libro?)
  ¿Did         it         catch   the mouse?        (¿Eso atrapó al ratón?
  ¿Did        we        read    the letter?         (Nosotros leimos la carta?)
  ¿Did        they      live     in Bogota?         (Ellos vivieron en Bogotá)

Nota: El verbo principal no cambia.

TEMA: FUTURO SIMPLE

Al construir oraciones en futuro simple, utilizamos el auxiliar will junto con el verbo principal que no cambia (queda en infinitivo).
Veamos la estructura para las afirmativas, negativas e interrogativas:


ORACIONES AFIRMATIVAS:

Su estructura es:

Suj. + Aux.fut. + Verbo + Complemento

  I        will          go         to the party.     (Yo iré a la fiesta) 
You      will        study       English.           (Tú estudiarás inglés)
She      will          do         the homework. (Ella hará la tarea)
He       will         buy         the bicycle.       (Él comprará la bicicleta)
It        will         catch       the mouse.      (Eso atrapará al ratón)
We      will         read        the letter.        (Nosotros leeremos la carta)
They   willl          live        in Bogota.        (Ellos vivirán en Bogotá) 


ORACIONES NEGATIVAS

Al hacer la negación utilizamos el auxiliar will + la negación (not), antes del verbo principal que no cambia:

Suj. + (Aux.+neg.)   +  Verbo + Complemento

I        will not/ won´t     go      to the party.   (Yo no iré a la fiesta)
You    will not/ won´t     study Spanish.         (Tú no estudiarás español)
She    will not/ won´t     do     exercise.         (Ella no hará ejercicio)
He      will not/won´t     buy    the car.           (Él no comprará el carro)
It       will not/won´t      catch the rat.           (Eso no atrapará a la rata) 
We     will not/won´t     read   the book.        (Nosotros no leeremos el libro)
They  will not/ won´t     live    in Medellín.     (Ellos no vivirán en Medellín)


Nota: won´t es la forma abreviada de will not.

ORACIONES INTERROGATIVAS

Al escribir una pregunta, la estructura de la oración cambia en el orden de sus partes y se escribe will para todas las personas:

Auxiliar + Sujeto + Verbo + Complemento

¿Will            I            go      to the library?  (¿Yo iré a la biblioteca?
¿Will          you         write   the poem?       (¿Tú escribirás el poema?)
¿Will          she          do      the dress?       (¿Ella hará el vestido?)
¿Will          he           run     in the park?     (¿Él correrá en el parque?) 
¿Will          it            catch   the fish?          (¿Eso atrapará al pescado?)
¿Will          we          learn   English?           (¿Nosotros aprenderemos inglés?)
¿Will           they       take    the bus?          (¿Ellos tomarán el bus?)
